Chair of the Awards for 2020, Jane McMillan Head of Marketing Communications at Warburtons, said,  “It was a real pleasure acting as head judge for the MPA Awards 2020. In a difficult year for many, the standard of entry was so high and the level of creativity and innovation was incredible. Manchester is a hot bed of talent and I wish all the finalists the very best of luck!”

Cindy Simmons, Managing Director of the MPA said, “I was very proud to see that once again the community that we represent has embraced our awards and has pushed the boundaries in terms of quality and content. In particular our ‘people’ categories, recognising young future talent, were extremely well supported again this year; reflecting how nurturing future talent is an intrinsic part of our mission to help companies and their people in Manchester Thrive.”

New categories for this year include ‘Integration’ and ‘Podcast’, with record entries reflecting the evolving and dynamic make-up of the industry.

Christian James, If agency founder and MPA Chair said “It’s testament to the ambition, resilience and determination of our community that we’ve seen such quality and volume of entries this year. With everything people are having to deal with, the standard is truly remarkable. Congratulations to everyone who entered’.
