By taking part in any event (“the Event”), organised by the Manchester Publicity Association (“the Organiser”), all participants confirm their agreement to the terms below:
- I am aged 18 years or older;
- I will follow and strictly comply with any and all safety rules and requirements made available to me by the Organiser either prior to or at the Event;
- I am responsible for my own safety and the safety of my possessions whilst taking part in the Event;
- I am, to the best of my knowledge, in good physical condition and not suffering from any medical condition which may have the effect of making it more likely that I will be involved in any accident or incident which may result in my injury or in the injury of any other participant taking part in the Event
- I have no pre-existing medical conditions which may result in my injury or death through participation in the Event;
- I understand and acknowledge that the Event may involve dangerous activities, and that there is a risk of personal injury or death when participating in them;
- In the unlikely event of an incident, accident, injury or any loss of or damage to my personal effects or possessions the Organiser will not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the Event (except where cause directly by the Organiser’s negligence) and I agree to waive any and all claims against the Organiser in this respect in addition to indemnifying and holding harmless both the Organiser and its employees, officers and volunteers;
