Our not-for-profit membership organisation today comprises over 1600 people just like you. People from the media, film, creative and digital industries. People ranging from the great and the good to the greenest of newcomers. We are the largest publicity association in Europe. But we want to grow.
Won't you join us?
Our aim is to create a rich, dynamic, stimulating community of and for creatively minded people. It is to give you a voice and a sense of belonging. It is to give you the chance to be part of an organisation which you own, shape, evolve and control.
Our remit, on the other hand, is to raise funds for the National Agency Benevolent Society (NABS), which helps those in need from the creative industries.
Think of it as standing up for our own, and looking after our own.
Members of the MPA have access to a wide range of activities. These include business functions, training programmes, social events, education services and funding for potential students of creative industries who are without the means of paying their own fees.
The MPA relaunched in September 2010 and saw the appointment of its first ever MD, Cindy Simmons. In February 2012, Richard Roycroft took the reins from Mike Perls (CEO at MC2) to become Chairman. The team that has driven this relaunch and growth of the MPA over the last two years is made up of people from within the industry. They are passionate about making sure that our region is truly world class, that we retain home grown talent, that we support our industry charity and provide thought provoking and stimulating events for our members to attend.
