We hope that you are enjoying reading our monthly interviews with fellow members – finding out more about who they are and what they’re all about.
We always try to include links where possible, so that you can connect and, we hope, develop relationships.
This month, we’re delighted to introduce Sue Benson, Managing Director of The Behaviours Agency. Over to you Sue!
Agency / Business name
The Behaviours Agency
What do you do?
We’re The Behaviours Agency, a creative agency that uses behavioural science to make marketing more effective. Since starting the business in 2006, we’ve focused on behaviour-led creativity. It’s been a single-minded pursuit to decode how someone makes a purchase decision, and use those insights to create compelling brands, experiences and campaigns that have led to real commercial success for our clients.
Our services include insight work such as behaviour-led research, brand strategy, creative development, integrated campaign creation, nudge led tactical execution work and finally retail experience design.
Our vision is to be ‘The happiest little agency in the world’ which means we focus jointly on the everyday happiness of clients and our people.
Who do you do it for?
We work with some of the world’s biggest brands and the world’s smaller brands, such as Sharps Bedrooms, Well Pharmacy, Auto Trader, Aggregate Industries, Activate Learning, Nike, Karndean, Housing Units and PZ Cussons.
Who / what kind of businesses would you like to do more with?
Brands that have a real behavioural challenge that needs solving. Particularly established retail brands, or D2C brands transitioning to a D2C model.
How would your best client describe you?
Probably as challenging, committed and caring. For different clients we’re different things – some of our clients have been with us for over 10 years so we’re a true partner. And others collaborate with us for our unique behavioural expertise on individual projects.
