Live work began with the branding and strategy arm of seventy7, HT&E, developing brand positioning, tone of voice and graphic styling for what they hoped would become “The definitive view on football, voiced through the insights of those who know the game best.”

John Whalley, head of HT&E commented, “When I first met with the team in 2014, the conversation was around nothing more than a concept, but one that we immediately all believed in and felt would bring something completely fresh to a content hungry football audience. Belief, commitment and hard work from everyone involved have now led to the launch of something very special, something I am proud of, and excited to be a part of going forward.”

seventy7’s digital marketing team were tasked with bringing the brand to life via a website design and build, launched in January 2018 - https://www.coachesvoice.com/. The team will also be supporting The Coaches’ Voice launch globally with a marketing campaign that includes SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media advertising. Through a combination of ongoing digital marketing activity and the engaging content The Coaches’ Voice are creating, they’ve already seen over half a million video views on their YouTube channel.

Paul Casey, head of digital at seventy7, "As a football fan, it’s been a dream come true to work on this project. We truly believe The Coaches’ Voice will really make a difference in the world of football content from a coaching perspective. The quality of content is incredible, reflected by the amount of media attention and site visits they’ve already had just 3 months into the launch. We’re looking forward to helping this business grow throughout 2018 and beyond."

The Coaches’ Voice launched with exclusive insights from football coaches and managers such as Vicente del Bosque, Brendan Rodgers, Nuno Espirito Santo and Aitor Karanka. More big names have already been interviewed and filmed and will be appearing on the site very soon.

Tony Hodson, Head of content at Coaches Voice said, “The idea behind The Coaches’ Voice was always to give a never-before-seen insight into the world of football through those people who, in our view, know the game best. We wanted to create a platform on which they could tell their stories, share their experiences and offer their expertise in a clean, fresh and stylish environment.

The team at seventy7 understood this, and delivered a site that was at once attractive, easy-to-use and, importantly, allowed the words and images we had gathered from our time with a whole range of different coaches to sing. We are very happy with what we have created thus far, and look forward to watching both the site and visitors to our numerous different platforms grow.”
