MPA spearheading research into diversity and inclusion in GM Media Digital and Creative universe

There are plenty of national statistics showing the state of diversity and inclusion in business across the UK, but how does that pan out specifically in creative industries and on our doorstep?

The MPA has collaborated with Planning Express, BIMA and Creative Resource to find out with the biggest ever study of diversity and inclusion of its kind across Greater Manchester.

MPA Chair and MD at Manchester’s IF Agency Christian James explains "I’ve been challenged on this issue at an MPA event last year and I didn’t have any answers. I made a commitment to myself right there and then to address it and that needs to start with understanding where we are now, in order to work out how to move forward."

IF Agency Creative Director added "As a female CD I’m hugely in the minority and gender diversity is just one aspect of it. I’m really hoping everyone in the industry will get behind this initiative and fill in the questionnaire. We need the data to be robust."
