About MPA

Introduction
Welcome to the MPA. The new MPA. A rejuvenated and revitalized MPA that while still retaining the values of its past, also embraces the thrill, the buzz and the vibe of the here and now.

Who are the MPA?
Simple. We are you.

Our not-for-profit membership organisation is today comprised of over 500 people just like you. People from the media, film, creative and digital industries. People ranging from the great and the good to the greenest of newcomers. We are the largest publicity association in Europe. But we want to grow.

What is the MPA all about?
Our aim is to create a rich, dynamic, stimulating community of and for creatively minded people. It is to give you a voice and a sense of belonging. It is to give you the chance to be part of an organisation which you own, shape, evolve and control.

Our remit, on the other hand, is to raise funds for the National Agency Benevolent Society (NABS), which helps those in need from the creative industries.

Think of it as standing up for our own, and looking after our own.

What does the MPA do?
Members of the MPA have access to a wide range of activities. These include business functions, training programmes, social events, education services and funding for potential students of creative industries who are without the means of paying their own fees.

Who is behind the new MPA?
The relaunching of the MPA is an undertaking that has been taken very seriously indeed. It now has a new Chairman, Mike Perls. And a full-time MD, Cindy Simmons. But the manner of its relaunch truly embodies what this new MPA is all about. Because at it’s very core is collaboration.

The team that has driven this relaunch is made up of designers, web builders, art directors, writers, thinkers and, most importantly, people who are passionate about their industry. Most never knew each other beforehand. Now it is a tightly knit team.

It’s amazing, isn’t it. It’s amazing what happens when we all come together, think together and work together.
