The MPA Education and Training Group is the prime mover in the MPA's desire to establish Manchester as one of Manchester?s Marketing excellence.
In contrast to the social side of the Association it concentrates on developing courses and programmes which provide education and, especially on-the-job training for all people in all disciplines of Marketing and Advertising in the area.
We will accept anyone on our courses but it is, usually, less expensive to members so it is very well worthwhile joining just for this reason. Whether you are a seasoned campaigner and want to update yourself or are new to the business, there, almost certainly, will be something for you.
As a member of the MPA you will be informed, in advance, of all these, and more, programmes and we hope that you will take the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills through one of our courses in the coming year.

The MPA/Roses Student Awards are just about the only opportunity students have to be part of a professional awards scheme. Unlike all the other student-orientated competitions, the Roses awards dinner isn?t a student event but a chance to mix with people from many top regional agencies.
Since the awards were launched ten years ago, the competition has grown in popularity and regularly attracts over 200 entries.
Every year top agencies set briefs to challenge entrants who have the opportunity to win paid work placements.
The University Links Progamme - is the MPA's latest project, an online showcase and information centre that puts colleges and universities directly in contact with leading advertising and design agencies.
With Unilink, tutors and students get access to the expertise and experience of leading advertising and design professionals - who in turn get a direct line to the cream of up-and-coming talent!
