Social Media is now a mainstream channel for all communications professionals. The Some Comms Awards staged by Don’t Panic events last year celebrated the very best in UK social media. Don’t Panic are now bringing a follow on conference to Manchester featuring a mix of inspirational award winning case studies, keynotes from some of the most respected practitioners in the country and panel sessions which will allow the audience to get one on one answers from many of the speakers involved in the day.

Winner of Best Business Blog Award - Stephen Waddington, MD of Speed will discuss the real value of investing time and expertise in your business blog and the ROI great content can achieve.

Winner of the Innovation Award - Branded3 who launched a free Twitter app called Twitition which has enabled over a million people to participate in easily created online petitions on every subject under the sun.

Other confirmed award winning case study sessions include Seventy Seven Social on viral video and their Nintendo campaign; We Are Social with their FMCG Marmarati campaign for Marmite; Juice Digital on their Brookson Members website awareness campaign: Just Eat's innovative use of Facebook and The University of Nottingham on their low budget but hugely profile raising Election 2010 blog.
