Piccadilly and Northern Quarter Independent Business Forum

Independent business is at the heart of the Northern Quarter and Piccadilly. It gives the destination an individual vibe, and makes the area stand out from the rest of the city.

Join us for a lively debate to discuss the future of independent business in Manchester city centre, over a glass of wine and a slice of pizza.

We'll be asking what are the challenges and opportunities, the pitfalls and possibilities.

We have invited a panel of experienced experts to give their views on current market trends, threats and prospects for the independent trader, before opening the floor to questions.

  • William Fulford - Director, Urban Market Company and Director, Camden Locks
  • Toby Sproll - Head of Retail, Bruntwood
  • Kate Day - Director, Manchester Craft and Design Centre
  • Nicky Rybka-Goldsmith - Proprietor, Thomas Restaurant, Cord and The Bay Horse

After the forum, the fantastic Paris based trio, Sawadu will perform three sets during the evening. Their enchanting music has echos of African sounds and beats.

This event is free but places are limited so please rsvp by return to this email or at piccadillypartnership@cityco.com to reserve your place.

We hope you can join us.

Kind Regards,
